Hallo

I recommend you to read some of 23cm JT mode observations here

www.enduro.idl.pl/jt.htm

I recommend you to keep in mind that I worked WITHOUT DS and with EMPTY call3.txt file at first part of ARRL contest.
I think that some revelations about JT dated at 2005-2006 are just outdated and should be revisited by using newest JT version AND without DS and call3.txt file at REAL contest conditions like some days ago. I was suprised that I received -26dB station after 3 periods of averaging but it WORKS. My EME setup was optimized after 3cm tests so I am able to receive better than ever and I can push JT to the limits I was unable to reach earlier. Remember that some part of JT qso is decoded by operator (pattern of signal on screen). I think that after serious system optimalization one can push JT more that earlier.

I think that a strong and decisive statement of EME community for contests organizer should be sent to distinguish modes at once to stop all of this discussions.
JT distribution used for contests should be without DS at all.

My JT log is open for request for all, all.txt file contains all what appear on screen (if not deleted).

I worked with my changed (previously SQ7DQX) call that was (and I hope is) not present in any call3.txt file. If anybody decoded me - one received all letters of both calls and locator coded in JT65C mode.
