Hello Ed,
I bought this antenna a few months ago. It is supposed to have 19.9dBd
gain; I can't confirm this. When I wanted to perform some tests on sun
it was too late in season and sun where too close from or even hidden by
a big "Cypres" tree (Lambert or Monterey), 100 year old. This was done
in my /P vacation QTH in SW of France (IN93EK).
I feel that this antenna is a bit fragile especially if you are using a
large and heavy coax cable in order to feed the dipole and boom could be
easily bent. I am not happy with SWR but may be I have a problem with
dipole and balun which seem loose. Any experience from other friends? I
have pictures available; I had also problems with hardware content: some
nuts and washers were missing and some others were too numerous!?
