That is good Gaetan but working Franco I2FAK is not really significant. Working Jurgen OZ1HNE who uses XP is very good.. I hope to be on the monthly CW run in October with more power so we will see. But regardless congratulations to try CW with your system. Well done Gaetan

David good morning. Your set up is big enough to work anybody. CW is tough. you have to pay attention to conditions when on CW something you do not need to do with JT unless the sun is in your face. I have been on CW for more than 20 years & it is a tough grind. Most of the stations left on CW you should be able to work on 144Mhz with your system.Conditions, conditions VERY important. In the old days Perigee happened in a Northern declination now it is during the Southern declination so CW is even tougher.
It must have been conditions with aurora. I would not give up & you should try again you will be happy than you did

Hello all. Jergen, amazing results for you! With my poor receive on my system I never heard you. I called I2FAK for over half an hour and only got him to get half of my call. Heard and called N4GJV but he disappeared without hearing me. I worked OK1MS on a sked from the internet. No other stations were heard from here. No wonder I don't work many CW contests! You can't work them if you can't hear them, and even if I hear them, they probably can't pull out my measly signal. Everything seems to be working, just can't hear well.

73, David AD4TJ, a wannabe CW EME'er but relegated to JT65 most of the time.

    TS-2000X, 4x15 K1FO horz, 4x11 K1FO vert, up to 1.2 KW output, 24dB preamp
