[Moon] PA3DZL 9cm test for Activity Weekend

9cm is working OK here at G3LTF , CW and ssb QSO with G4NNS . Moon noise 1.15dB ( 09.45) and sun noise 18.4dB SF 122.
I will re-measure during the weekend so that we get as many sun noise measurements on the same day for better comparisons.

Hello EME friends,

 

This morning i did some measurements on 9cm

 

Sunnoise between 14.5 and 15 dB  (VK3UM 10.09 = 15.95dB)

Moonnoise between 0.5 and 0.6dB (VK3UM 10.09 = 0.65dB)

Very nice echoes  !  also nice echoes in SSB

 

Rig : 3.7m Andrew solid f/d 0.34 dish, >150W @ feed and <0.5dB NF @ feed.
