[Moon] Cyber-attack

Gentlemen
For the last 5 weeks or so I have been 'playing cat and mouse' with 
persons/robot causing mayhem on my web site.
Each time I block their URLs they come in through another door. I have 
been able to pinpoint the source to several
small towns within a 50km radius and have now, with the aid of my ISP, 
blocked a range of URL's. It hasfor the last
couple of daysproved to be successful.

The reason for this posting is two fold. If you were unable to access my 
web site last week (timed out) for long
periods (hours) this was the cause and, secondly I would be interested 
to know if any one else 'out there' is suffering
the same intrusions on their web site. (off reflector please) You can 
check easily by viewing your 'visitor activity'.
I hope I have not blocked any legitimate users and if so please let me know.
I cannot believe there is anything sinister in the attacks but it is 
just a darn nuisance that messes up access and statistics.
