Hello Branimir
I understand your question, i replay to you speaking only for CW eme qso with this antennas, i use them since 2010, i had fantastic CW qso, worked also in good conditions small stations one or two yagi. the mechanical,electrical stability,hardiness is very good, follow the space from VE7BQH table.I believe M2 are better than JXX antennas , meccanical, drive element ect. much better, 6 meters long no need any kind of guy, i had 100 kmh wind with no problem.Hope this help......only thing... stations on 144 CW eme are very few at the moment, also during contest.

Hello, Tnx for all replays/discussions, but I wrote "my comeback to 144 EME CW". It means that I have had a lot experience in 2m EME CW, from 1993 and around 800 random QSOs. To be clear, I removed my old F9FT 16el. (after more than 25 years!; problem with dipole contacts, corrosion, etc.) and want simple to swap with new one, similar size/long (6,5 m +/-). All my tower equipment works well and I do not want to change anything (polarization, power (1 KW), preamp, ...). I can buy 2M12 in EU, for the almost same price as in US, but in the same time, I am impressed with mechanical details of 12JXX2 antennas; ... So, for now these are candidates and appreciate your replays you sent, regarding your experience. If somebody has some other suggestion for any EU antenna, you are welcome. Thank you all,Vy 73 de Branimir (http://reocities.com/capecanaveral/9059/pictures/antene/antene.html)

Hello EMErs, I am planning for my comeback to 144 EME CW :-). Do anybody have suggestion/experience: 2M12 vs 12JXX2? For me is important:
- Gain, G/T, exclusively for EME CW;
- Wind robust;
- Long life mechanical/electrical quality (it's hard to make any restoration on top of my tower (20 m)).
Thanks in advance, Vy 73 de Branimir - 9A9B Branimir Antolic - 9A9B
