[Moon] [Moon-Net] WSJT V10 R6088 problem

Hi Gerald,

Tried this and W7/VE4MA makes me being HC8/PA2DW and VE4MA/W7 3A/PA2DW.

But meanwhile I understood from the manual (which we men hardly ever read…) we should use simply K/VE4MA and this works fine.

Case closed!

Out of curiosity, wonder if using W7 instead of K7 makes any difference?

Hi all,

Just recently I noticed a strange problem in WSJT. I was trying to QSO K7/VE4MA but when I entered that call, the program was sending the message ‘VE4MA UA9/PA2DW. I was being expelled to Siberia! J

Then I tried sending ‘VE4MA/K7 PA2DW’ and it appeared I had moved to Slovenia as the message I transmitted was ‘VE4MA S5/PA2DW. I prefer Slovenia over Siberia , I think…, but I’s rather stay in Holland J

Just to clarify: in the textboxes the messages where correct, but the yellow text that indicates what I actually was sending was as described above.

After all Barry and I worked by just sending VE4MA PA2DW, but that is of course not the way It should be…

Am I doing something wrong?

By the way, I recall seeing some similar trouble about the HK0/DL2NUD expedition, but have deleted the mails. So maybe I am stirring up some already known issue, apologies in advance!

Best regards,

Dick PA2DW
