Hi all

So far (18.5.2016) Hermann worked 12 stations on 23cm, 11 stations on 13cm
and 3 stations on 6cm.

Unfortunately he had RX and TX problems on 23cm (3-5dB less RX and TX signal
compared to the tests from home prior to DXpedition). He lost the SMA relay
(he now uses the one he also uses on 13cm). Fortunately he is using a
circulator on 23cm, so he did not burn the PA! On 16. May he RXed several
stations but could not work them. He hopes the faulty SMA relay was the
cause of the RX/TX problem. He is looking forward to try again 23cm 19./20.
May, hopefully with better results.

On 13cm the station seems to work well. He RXed several stations which he
could not yet work.

He will be QRV tonight (18. May) on 6cm. This time (on request of several
6cm stations) he will TX and RX on 100. So you need to do your and his
Doppler-correction if you can.

Reminder: He has at least 20dgr elevation at moonrise and a water-tank in
the way shortly after moonrise. He can't elevate the antenna more than
70dgr. So he is QRX when moon goes higher and comes back when it is again 70
and less.

He has internet, which most of the time works. but some hours he had none.
If he can he is on the HB9Q loggers.

Last night he experienced another challenge. the electrical power went out.
he learned that after sunset the power goes out often and nobody knows if
and when it comes back. After sunrise it is always back. The reason for this
is, that a lot of the electricity is produced with sunlight. The moon is
rising later every day which really makes it very difficult for Hermann.
Sorry about that! Please try to work him as early as possible as he may run
out of power again. For the US-stations it is really difficult. Hermann will
do what is in his power, but he can't do magic, sorry.

The coming days activity plans are as follows:

18. May 5760.100 1st JT4F RX and TX on 100, you do full Doppler-correction

19. May 1296.100 1st JT65c he TX 100 and RX on his echo

20. May 1296.100 1st JT65c he TX 100 and RX on his echo

21. May 2320.100 1st JT65c he TX 100 and RX on his echo

22. May 5760.100 1st JT4F RX and TX on 100, you do full Doppler-correction

Good luck to all!
