Its funny how a lot of you old operators can't except new technology. Can't except change. Digital is the future. Maybe not for you but for the new guys coming in. I've been around almost 25 years as a ham. I love some of the old digital modes. Are some of these modes perfect???? No. But I ask.....Do you copy CW 100%. Maybe there has been times when you mistaken a K for a C while doing cw just because you missed a dit?? Nothing is 100% correct. These fellas were also a little new using the new QRA mode. Again QRA is in the testing stages. They thought the contact was made. They did not exchanged all information to make it a legit QSO. And they knew that. They are many worldwide in this small group that also overlook to make sure that all is legal. I can except the fact that many will not except digital. Many don't want to except change or progress. I know how you non believers feel. I do not like that one can use a cellphone to work repeaters. But I don't get up in the morning and complain all day about it. I just move on.

how far has this activity moved away from true EME, based on randomly finding each other and exchanging reports and names and QTH?!

and why the  "QSO"  between V51PJ - PY1MHZ  was declared as a new world-record (even until yesterday on ARRL web page, OK2KKW  and D4C ! ) ? 

HB9DUR writes on D4C page that even K1JT proved the "QSO" as a good one and suddenly he  us rowing backwards and says it was false alarm...

Whats wrong?
