Hello Peter et All

WD5AGO put two 13 cm preamps in the post yesterday so I should be QRV on 13 cm by next Tuesday or Wednesday with the new power amp, almost 300 watts, and a properly tuned up VE4MA feed.

Fingers crossed that my signal is significantly louder and I hear well.

Thanks for the help and encouragement from all my friends.

Steve N4PZ

PS. I have a 4 foot offset feed dish and 16 watts on 10 ghz. With 50 watts I believe I could be QRV on that band. You guys are sure keeping me hopping. LMAO.

I overslept somewhat and it took me longer than usual to fit the feed as I’d forgotten that “borrowed” the feed access work platform for another job and modified it!
I worked K2UYH, CW and later on ssb, W5LUA and PY2BS (CW) . While working them I could see someone on the SDR calling at about 3400.100 but as I finished they went QRT.
Libration was very low and the notes T9 and the ssb QSO with Al was great quality. I hope to be on tomorrow from about 0500Z wx permitting.

I plan to be active on 9cm this weekend, CW or SSB, probably mainly on Saturday, for tests or QSOs in the AW. Wx looks reasonable. Gear is 6m dish with 90W at the feed. Tsys about 82K. I will be on the HB9Q logger.
