At the Swedish EME meeting we had a short discussion on the subject of Microwave Activity Weekends for 2019. We do have the 6cm and 9cm DUBUS CW/SSB contests coming up shortly, see http://www.marsport.org.uk/dubus/EMEContest2019web.pdf however it looks highly likely that some of the Scandinavian countries (SM/OZ) are likely to lose access to 13 and 9cm this year and so it was agreed that we should use the remaining “good” weekends this summer to maximise the chance to work them. Sadly it may be the last chance.
The proposal is to use the weekend of July 27/28th with 13cm on July 27th and 9cm on July 28th.

If running a “two bands” AW works out OK then we have the opportunity to use August 24/25th for 3 and 6cm.
For newcomers....an AW is when we attempt to get all those with capability on a specific band to come on and make QSOs, run tests for those needing signals, test new feeds, preamps etc. No pressure, no scoring, use the reflector, use any mode, just activate the band.
