Hi All

Between 1. and 6. April we have been QRV for the first time with our new 50
MHz 4x7el x-yagis FLA. We are very happy with the results! It was great fun
to work 37 stations and add 33 new initials to our old 14 initials (worked
over the years with the 1 yagi antenna) for a total of 47 initials.
Unfortunately we had some problems with our K3S, so we used our KX3 as
transmitter. Unfortunately the KX3 is far away from frequency stable when
heating up and throughout the RX/TX periods. For this reason our signal was
drifting, which of course makes it more difficult to decode. We hope to get
the spare parts to repair our K3S by early next week, just early enough to
have our K3S in-line again for the coming 50 MHz EME activity days (30.
April to 6. May).

For more information about our 50 MHz equipment and the results go to

At https://hb9q.ch/2018/?page_id=114 you find some photos of our 4x7el
x-yagi antenna-array.

The HB9Q Logger has also a 50 MHz section (free of charge), see at
https://logger.hb9q.ch/

We will be QRV 50 MHz on 25./26. April and on 30. April until 6. May. As
always we are stand-by on ON4KST and HB9Q logger when QRV. If you like to
work us please look for us on the loggers or drop us an e-mail to
dan at hb9q.ch <mailto:dan at hb9q.ch> . We are happy to sked with you!
