Hej, Ingolf.

Today it's a national holiday here, the Emperor's birthday. So I have
enough time to read your comment.

Sometimes it would be difficult to clearly explain the cause and outcome.
But at least it was good in your case that you didn't touch the 3kV inside.

In my case first I didn't know the reason but found 12V line for LNA and
T/R sequencer showed 3V only. So I had to replace it to something....

Fortunately I have a microphone amplifier and the phantom PS. Usually
I don't have microphone in EME shack, but I used it during SSB Funtest recently.
I could get regulated low noise 12V from it. And I have a Chinese 0.6dB
34dB LNA in addition to the original LNA. Why not test it?

It was a warm night and easy to work outside on a ladder of 2m high.
But no noise came into my RX... Why?
Chinese LNA's power requirement is 5V, not 12V.

So I had to remove it, and tested again HB FHX35LG(by JH0WJF) only.
T/R sequencer worked normally then.

Hope it works, but immediately after I connected 12V of phantom PS, to
my setup, 48V line, several millimeters away in the DC connector, was
touched on.

This was the end of my night work of the contest night!
Hope my phantom PS for SURE electret microphone did not break....
